sweet dreams

we signed our lives away.

for 9 months, anyways. 

just when we were in the depths of despair and all hope seemed gone, ali and i finallllly found a cute condo. nevermind that a married couple lives there, we can spruce things up and make the space our own. and did i mention we can start moving this week? hazzah!

my kind and gracious parents are lending us {full-size!} beds, an old kitchen table, and my sister a beautiful white couch. it really is the greatest thing in the world for naps. 

we're thinking of painting the kitchen table {martha stewart "glass of milk" in behr premium plus ultra, of course} and then modge podging a map on the top. to finish it off we'll apply a water-based polyurethane {oil-based polyurethane tends to turn whites yellow} for protection and paint the individual chairs different colors. one of my favorite colors? martha stewart "sea glass".

it's as perfect as it looks and sounds. we also love coral, a soft yellow, and maybe a light mint green or hazy purple?

currently i'm obsessed with new bedding, since we'll be converting from twin size beds to full. it's all i tend to look at on pinterest, or the entire internet for that matter. i cannot get over this bed:

the only downside is the condo is painted this slightly-mauve tan and my dreams of a yellow and grey room would clash with the walls. i want something simple and classy.
